The
Campsite, it's Location & Facilities Are A Very
Important Part Of Your Holiday.

Homes Fronting The River On The Campsite |
We
have enjoyed holidays in France for the last 15 year's,
and in that time have learned some very valuable lessons.
- Find
a site within walking distance of a good beach, and
the local village / town.
- Your
whole holiday is much more enjoyable if you can WALK
to your evening meals - if you have to drive you can't
have a drink!
- Seaside
locations can get very busy at peak holiday times.
To be able to leave the car at the site & walk
to the beach means you stay relaxed.
- After
driving down to the South of France you don't want
to drive all day - every day!
- Large
sites can be very impersonal.
- Smaller
sites become your home from home.
- You
get to know the staff they get to know you.

As
with most continental countries, an evening spent 'promenading'
in the local village/town is a very popular pastime,
meandering through the canals of Port Grimaud, window
shopping (or even buying things!) stopping at a bar
or two, eating you evening meal whilst 'people watching'
and all this without having to drive your car!
This
and the below points is why we have chosen to base our
holiday home here in 'Port Grimaud'
- The
campsite is at the edge of the village - just a 5
minute stroll will take you into 'Port Grimaud's'
lovely canals and walkways.
- The
campsite is secure.
- There
are only 250 emplacements - big enough to have a great
atmosphere - small enough to care.
- Just
10 minutes walk leads you on to the large, beautiful
sandy beach at the very centre of the Gulf of St Tropez,
with stunning views towards St Tropez & St Maxime.
- Located
alongside a river, with new mooring platform.
- English
owners.
